About Universitas Bengkulu (UNIB)
Universitas Bengkulu – UNIB is a public university located in Bengkulu, Indonesia, which was established on 24 April 1982 by Presidential Decree No. 17 of 1982 and was inaugurated by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. David Joseph. UNIB included in the list of “50 Best Universities in Indonesia” version of the Directorate General of Higher Education. UNIB campus located in 3 different locations, namely Rawa Makmur (Main Campus Complex), Cimanuk, and Air basket.
University of Bengkulu (UNIB) was established under Presidential Decree No. 17 of 1982 and was inaugurated by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. David Joseph. At the same time the first UNIB inducted Rector, Prof. Ir. Soenjoto Sumodihardjo (UGM) for the period 1982-1986. Dr. Ir. Soekotjo (UGM), who previously served as Vice Rector I, led UNIB for the period 1986-1990. For the period 1990-1995 Dr. Ir. Nitza Arbi (UNAND) was entrusted to lead UNIB. 1995 to 2005 held the post of Rector UNIB by Prof. Dr. H Zulkifli Husin, S.E, M.Sc. (UNSYIAH) .Since 2005 to 2013 Rector UNIB chaired by Prof. Ir. Zainal Congress, MSc., Ph.D. On October 4, 2013 dilantiklah Dr. Ridwan Nurazi, S.E., M.Sc., Ak as Rector of the University of Bengkulu 6th.
UNIB existence of a concrete manifestation of the relentless struggle of the Governor Soeprapto who have the full support of the community, traditional leaders, local government Tk. I Bengkulu, and private colleges named University Semarak Bengkulu (UNSEB). University support is realized in the form of student submission UNSEB as forerunners UNIB along Campus area of ??24.9 ha land in Desa Beringin Raya Bengkulu.
The main obstacles faced during the process of establishment UNIB based on the results of a feasibility study conducted by the University of Sriwijaya among which the unavailability of lecturers, so at that time concluded that in Bengkulu is not worthy established a state university. These obstacles can be overcome finally after Governor Soeprato cooperation with Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta on the instructions of President Soeharto. Realization of the results of such cooperation dikirimlah several lecturers from UGM among others Prof. Ir. Soenjoto Sumodihardjo, Dr. Ir. Soekotjo, Drs. Sutarto, Ir. Supratoyo and H. Hidjazi, SH for seconded officials UNIB well as structural as well as lecturers. They recruit lecturers from several universities in Java and Sumatra.

Jobs Description
General Requirements:
- Citizens of the Republic of Indonesia (Indonesian) evidenced by photocopy of Identity Card (KTP) is still valid;
- Was as low as 18 (eighteen) and setingi-high 35 (thirty five) years other than those excluded;
- Healthy physical, spiritual and drug-free;
- Well behaved and never sentenced to imprisonment or confinement under a court decision which is legally enforceable;
- Never was honorably discharged at his own request or not with respect as PNS / Members of the TNI / police or dishonorably dismissed as private employees;
- There is a servant or civil servant and or not undergoing agreement / contract of employment / contract to another agency, both institutions within and outside the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education;
Special Requirements
- For applicants Educator / Instructor / Lecturer Non PNS GPA of at least 3.00 S1 and S2 minimum GPA of 3.25 and disciplines should S1 and S2 linearly from an accredited study program of at least B;
- Special Educator applicants / instructor / lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences S1 GPA and GPA of at least 2.15 Profession / S2 at least 3.00 of an accredited study program of at least B;
- For applicants Personnel Non PNS, GPA S1 / D3 of at least 2.75 of an accredited study program of at least B, high school / junior high average value of the degree (Skilled) at least 6.
