The establishment of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) can not be separated with a history of policy management systems seaports in Indonesia. Before the year 1983 the management of sea ports afforded implemented by 8 (eight) State Enterprise Business Entity form of PN. Port of I – VIII.
In 1983 in line with the policy of the government’s order of national seaport set of 4 (four) the gate of the national foreign trade, then do mergers Enterprises PN 8. Ports to be 4 (four) business entities with the status of the Public Company (Perum), one of them is Perum Port IV.
Perum Pelabuhan IV is the result of a merger PN. Port of V, VI, VII, and VIII, coupled with 6 (six) ports that are not cultivated in the province of Irian Jaya, whose establishment is based on Government Regulation (PP). 17 of 1983 yo PP. No. 7 Year 1985. Subsequently in 1992, based on the PP. 59 status in 1991 transferred to Housing Enterprises Limited is a PT. Indonesia harbors IV boosted with the endorsement of Association through Deed Imas SH. 7 dated December 1, 1992.

Jobs Description
Requirements :
- Education background and age
- ANT I : maximum age of 42 years old on 1 December 2018.
- ANT II : maximum age of 40 years old on 1 December 2018.
- ANT III : maximum age of 35 years old on 1 December 2018.
- Minimum age of 30 years old on 1 December 2018.
- Required Sailing experience for 3 years as a Mualim and preferably as a captain/Nahkoda.
- Minimum height of 160 cm.
- Not color blind and not wearing glasses or optic lens and no eye defects.
- Physically and mentally healthy.
- Willing to be placed in all working area of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero).
- Willing to take part in the XLII Pandu 2018-2019 Education Program.
Required application documents :
- Legalized copies of all education diplomas (SD up to latest education)
- Legalized copies of marine diploma
- Copy of birth certificate
- Copy of Seaman Skills Certificate (COC / COP) in accordance with the Manila Amendment or proof / receipt of payment for participation in seafarers’ skills education that is still valid
- Copy of Sailor Book
- Copy of Marlin test certificate or TOEFL certificate with minimum score of 450
- Information on the sail period from Shahbandar as a Mualim / Nahkoda for at least 3 years
- Color photograph size 3×4 cm and 4×6 cm (each 3 sheets).
