About Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat dr Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten
RSUP Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten was established on December 20, 1927, jointly by the estates (Onderneming) belonging to the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia) consisting of tobacco plantations, sugarcane and jute plantations.
Hospital was named “Dr. Scheurer HOSPITAL” and managed by the foundation “Zending” engaged in the welfare of the people. Hospital led by Dr. Bakker.
In 1942 Japan’s entry / control of the Dutch East Indies government that “Dr. SHEURER HOSPITAL” also controlled by Japan. In 1945 Japan lost the war and Indonesia proclaimed its independence. Thus “Dr. SHEURER HOSPITAL” also are in the power of the government of Indonesia and since then renamed GENERAL HOSPITAL TEGALYOSO KLATEN. The name is taken from the name of the village where the Hospital Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro is that Tegalyoso village. During the reign of Japan Hospital led by Dr. Maeda and Dr. Curuta. Then after Japan went (1945) Hospital, led by Dr. Soenoesmo.
In the transition from the hospital under the management of the Hospital Zending be GOI there are still some foreign doctors include Dr. Horner and Dr Bakker Junior. 1978 out decision of the Minister of Health No. 134 / Menkes / SK / IV / 78 of 28 April 1978 on the Organizational Structure and Work Procedure General Hospital, where among others stipulate that the Hospital Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro is a Class C Hospital, the General Hospital who carry out health services in at least 4 (four) branches of specialization are: Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology and Child Health.
1992 Hospital Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro designated as the Hospital Unit Swadana With Conditions, by Health Minister Ri with decision number 746 / Menkes / SK / I / 1992 dated September 2, 1992. With the enactment as Swadana Unit, Hospital Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro berweanang to manage / use the reception function directly.
In 1993, the Minister of Health’s decision number 1168 / Menkes / SK / XII / 1993 dated December 15, 1993, Hospital Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro class rose from class C to class B non Education.
In 1994, with the letter number: S-733 / MK.03 / 1994 dated October 6, 1994, the Finance Minister stated that the Hospital Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro can be approved as a Hospital Unit Swadana Unconditionally. Then followed by determination of the Minister of Health’s decision number 1285 / Menkes / SK / XII / 1994 dated December 28, 1994 on the establishment of Hospital Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro become Hospital Units Swadanana (Unconditional).
In 1997 out of Law No. 20 on Non-Tax Revenues (non-tax) were followed up by the Goverment Regulation No. 22 Year 1997 on type and payment of non-tax revenues, the Hospital Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro including Non Tax Revenue Agency.
During the long period of time and after going through various changes towards hospital management in accordance with the changing times, it is based on the Minister of Health No. 1442 A / Menkes / SK / XII / 1997 dated 20 December 1997 stipulates the name into a department of the Hospital Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro is one of the leaders in the movement Boedi UTOMO associations and served as a doctor in Klaten.
2001 by the Decree of the Minister of Health No. 934 / Menkes / IX / 2001 dated September 5, 2001, Hospital Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten approved as a teaching hospital for the Medical Faculty UGM and used as a Laboratory Center for Development of Basic Medical Care Essential.
2003 by the Decree of the Minister of Health No. 1594 / Menkes / SK / XII / 2002 dated December 27 2002 Hospital Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten designated as Class B Hospital Education.
2007 based on the Ministry of Finance No. 273 / KMK.05 / 2007 dated June 21, 2007 and the Decree of the Minister of Health No. 756 / Menkes / SK / VI / 2007 dated June 26, 2007 set the Hospital Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten as the Hospital Financial Management Pattern Public Service Agency.

General Requirements
- Indonesian citizens (WNI);
- Minimum 18 years and not older than 35 years old as of 1 December 2015;
- A minimum GPA of 2.75;
- Program study accreditation minimum B;
- Never involved in an activity that is against the Pancasila, the Constitution 45, the State and the Government of Indonesia;
- Never been sentenced to imprisonment or confinement by a court decision that has binding legal force, for committing a criminal offense;
