PT Indonesian National Reinsurance officially established on August 22, 1994 in accordance Notary Sutjipto, SH No: 129 and 130, and permit operation of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia No.27/KMK.17/1995 dated January 9, 1995.
PT Reasuransi Indonesia Utama (Persero) – Indonesia Re was founded with the name “Owned Company (Persero) PT Asuransi Export Indonesia”, based on Deed 173 dated November 30, 1985 made in presence of Achmad Bajumi, SH Notary replacement of Imas Fatimah, S.H Notary in Jakarta.
In order to increase the capacity of the reinsurance obtained from the incorporation of equity into a larger entity, thereby reducing the dependence of the Company on the needs of retrocession / import capacity of reinsurance from abroad, the Government (Ministry of SOEs and the Ministry of Finance) and the regulator (Financial Services Authority) developing a policy and strategies to increase reinsurance capacity in the country by establishing a National reinsurance Company (PRN) through the incorporation of a reinsurance company in Indonesia.
In this regard, Indonesia Re-appointed by the Shareholders (the Ministry of SOEs) as a forum for the establishment of National Reinsurance Company ( “PRN”), with the core business is the reinsurance business.
On June 23, 2016 was held at the Ministry of SOEs, have been carried Signing of Merger PT International Reinsurance Indonesia (ReINDO) into Utama PT Reinsurance Indonesia (Persero) as outlined in the Deed Nanda Fauz Iwan M.Kn SH No. 11 dated June 23, 2016.
On the merger referred to the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights has issued Letter No. AHU-AH.01.10-0001987 dated June 30, 2016 on Merger Notification Acceptance PT International Reinsurance Reinsurance Indonesia into Indonesia Utama PT (Persero) and the issuance of Decree of the Minister of Justice No. AHU-AH.01.03-0063228. 2016 dated June 30, 2016 regarding the approval of amendments of Reinsurance Indonesia Utama PT (Persero). Which is accompanied by changes in the constitution related to changes in the data bank IndonesiaRe Reinsurance Indonesia Utama PT (Persero)
Basing Article 133 paragraph (1) of Act 40 of 2007 on Limited Liability Company, Board of Directors of Indonesia Re as the company received a merger announced in Bisnis Indonesia on 14 Jui 2016, which states that the Merger ReINDO into Indonesia Re has been effective on June 30, 2016 and in connection with the merger of the above, then all the activities of the business activities, the Company’s operations ReINDO dissolved by law without prior liquidation process and switching to Indonesia Re.
For the next stage, according the Road Map Formation of the Indonesian National Re Reinsurance Company has been operating as the Company reasuransi.ReINDO An engine of IndonesiaRe. All professional ReINDO be driving from Indonesia Re as well as business.
