PT. Nusa Halmahera Minerals (NHM) is a joint venture between Singapore Holding Pte, Ltd (NEWCREST) 82.5% and PT. Aneka Tambang (Persero) 17.5%. Contract of Work between Goverment of Indonesia and PT. Nusa Halmahera Minerals was signed on 28 April 1997. The agreement was based on Predential Decree No. B 143/Pres/3/1997 dated 17 March 1997. The original Contract of Work area was 1.672.967ha. After 3 (three) relingquishment stages, current Contract of Work area is 29.622ha.

Underground Geologist (GEO) – Fix Term Contract
Job Description
Requirements :
- Education
- Minimum Senior High School or similar.
- Minimum Bachelor (S1) holder in Geology
- At least 4 years of experience as Geologist with 2 years of previous experience in Geology production.
- Previous experience at underground mine will be highly prioritized.
- Familiar with mine geology softwares (preferable Surpac experience) and Grade Control System & Database.
- Familiar with epithermal vein structure and safety in production
- Familiar with infill drilling, core logging, ore sampling and mapping.
- Have a strong structural analysis and willing to work in shifting schedule
- Agree and committed to perform the 5 Principles of the Newcrest Values
