The Company was formerly known as PDAM Kab Tangerang, which was founded in 1976, the name PDAM Tirta Kerta Raharja was established in 2001 based on Local Regulation no 16 of 2001.
The Company is based in Tangerang Regency and operates 3 area service offices and 3 branch offices (Serpong, Tigaraksa, and Teluknaga). The Company also supported by 11 Water Treatment Plants with a production capacity of 5040 liters of water per second. As of December 2011, the Company supported by 404 direct employees and 186 outsourcing human resources.

General Requirements
- Male / Female, not married; maximum age of 35 years old at the time appointed Prospective Employees.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 for:
- S1 majoring in: Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture and Informatics Engineering or Information Systems or Information Management
- D3 majoring in Chemistry Analyst.
- Minimum GPA of 3 for S1 majoring in Law, and Accounting.
