About Kementerian Pertanian (Kementan)
Kementerian Pertanian – Kementan – Deptan is one of the Indonesian Ministry in charge of agricultural affairs, plantations and farms. Ministry of Agriculture Republic of Indonesia led by a Minister of Agriculture. Since October 22, 2009, chaired by the Minister of Agriculture Suswono.
Department of Agriculture was established on January 1, 1905 based on the Decree of the Governor General of the Dutch East Indies dated 23 September 1904 No. 20 Staatsblaad 982 which is based on the King of the Dutch Decree No. 28 dated July 28, 1904 (Staatsblaad No. 380). First Director of the Department of Agriculture are Dr. Melchior Treub.
In the Dutch colonial period agricultural affairs are handled by the Department van Landbouw (1905), Departement van Landbouw, Nijverheid en hendel (1911) and van Ekonomische Department Zaken (1934). Meanwhile, during the Japanese occupation, Gunseikanbu Sangyobu involved in addressing agricultural affairs. After the proclamation of independence, namely the formation of cabinets:

Jobs Description
Requireents:
- Status as a civil servant;
- Trustees at least the rank of Major Young, Room Group IV / c (never echelon II positions for a minimum of two (2) years;
- Maximum age of 56 (fifty six) years in August, 2014;
- Minimum educational qualification strata-II / post-graduate (S2);
- Has passed the Level II Leadership Training (PIM Tk. II), preferably has attended kindergarten PIM. I;
- All elements of performance appraisal at least well worth the 2 (two) years;
- Prepare a paper on the topic or title of the position to be adjusted to the proposed (A-4 paper, typed 1.5 spaced, Arial font, font 12, between 7-10 pages);
- Never undergo disciplinary punishment of moderate or severe;
- Having a job competency is required;
- Physically and mentally healthy; and
- Has submitted Annual LHKPN and SPT.
Application addressed to the Chairman of the Selection Committee Position Charging High Key and Associate (Echelon Ia and Ib) in the Ministry of Agriculture, by completing the following requirements:
- Copy of diploma S-1 and S-2 (S-3 if any);
- Curriculum vitae that includes a history of office experience, educational history, phone number, email address and reason for choosing the proposed position;
- Copy of decision and appointment as a civil servant in the appointment of civil servants up to the last rank;
- Copy of Decision Appointment in structural positions ranging from the adoption decision echelon IV to the appointment in the last position;
- Copy of Leadership Training Certificate Level II (PIM Tk. II) / PIM or kindergarten. I (if any), as well as technical and functional training certificates relevant to the proposed position;
- Copy of DP-3 in 2012 and 2013;
- Papers by topic or title is adapted to the position that will be spoken;
- Certificate from the government hospital, which consists of:
- a. Healthy Physical Specification;
- b. Spiritual Health Certificate from a specialist;
- c. Remarks drug-free equipped with laboratory results in 1 (one) month.
- Police Notes Certificate (original and valid);
- Copy of proof of delivery and SPT LHKPN Annual, 2013; and
- Statement letter never undergo disciplinary punishment of moderate or severe revenue stamp affixed with Rp. 6,000.
