About Kabupaten Boyolali
Boyolali is a district-level government in Central Java Province. The administrative center is located in Kemiri Kecamatan Mojosongo, located about 25 km west of Surakarta City. It is adjacent to Semarang regency and Grobogan regency in the north; Sragen regency, Karanganyar regency, Sukoharjo regency, and Surakarta city (Solo) in the east; Klaten Regency and Yogyakarta Special Region to the south; as well as Magelang and Semarang regencies in the west. This district includes the Solo Raya area.
Boyolali district consists of 19 districts, which are divided again over 260 villages and 7 villages. The central government is located in Boyolali sub-district. In addition to Boyolali, other sub-districts are Sambi Ampel, Banyudono, Sawit, Mojosongo, Simo, Karanggede, Andong, Musuk, Cepogo and Selo. Ngemplak area directly adjacent to the city of Surakarta, has now been developed into a growth center of Solo Raya to the west.
