The Company operates as a member of automotive business units of Astra International Group. The Company is based in Jakarta and since 1998 operates 4 factories, including machinery, steel plate stamping plant, aluminum casting, and assembly. In May 2011, PT Astra Daihatsu Motor started to build a new plant in Industrial Estate Suryacipta East Karawang West Java with production capacity of 100,000 units per year and expected to start the production at year end of 2012.
