About Ombudsman Indonesia

Ombudsman Republik Indonesia previously named the National Ombudsman Commission is Indonesia’s national board has authority overseeing maintenance of good public services are maintained by the organizers and the government, including those maintained by the State Owned Enterprises, District-Owned Enterprises, and state-owned legal bodies and private bodies or individuals given the task of maintaining certain public services that some or all of its funds come from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget or District Revenues and Expenditures Budget. Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia began dibentuknya “National Ombudsman Commission” on 20 March 2000 is based on Presidential Decree Number 44 Year 2000. Role when the National Ombudsman Commission is doing surveillance on the provision of public services by the organizers, including SOE / ROE, adjudication board, National Land Agency, the Police, Prosecutors, District Government, the Ministry and the Ministry, Ministry of Non Instutions, State Universities, the TNI, and so on.

Indonesian Ombudsman’s duties are:

  1. Receive reports of alleged Maladministrasi in the maintenance of public services.
  2. The substance of inspection reports.
  3. Follow up reports are included in the scope of its authority.
  4. Doing self-initiated investigation against alleged Maladministrasi in the maintenance of public services.
  5. Coordination and cooperation with state agencies or other government institutions and community institutions and individuals.
  6. Developing networking.
  7. Do Maladministrasi prevention efforts in the maintenance of public services.
  8. Perform other duties assigned by law.

Requirements :

  • Indonesian citizen;
  • Fear God;
  • Physically and mentally healthy;
  • Free of Drugs;
  • Competent, honest, moral integrity, capability, and reputation;
  • Be at least 40 (forty) years and a maximum of 60 (sixty) years as of 9 November 2016;
  • Lowest education bachelor degree in law or other fields that have the expertise and experience of at least 7 (seven) years in the field of law or the rule concerning the maintenance of public services;
  • Having knowledge about the Ombudsman and the public service;
  • Not been sentenced by a court decision which has become final and binding for a criminal offense punishable by imprisonment of five (5) years or more;
  • Ready to cum to the Office of the State or State Officers in accordance with the provisions of the legislation, managers or employees of state-owned enterprises or government-run enterprises, the management and / or members of political parties and other professions (among others: Doctors, Accountants, Notary , Officer Deed Land);
  • Active and networks in government, community organizations, NGOs, the media and universities in each province Representative office of the Ombudsman.

Administrative Completeness:

  1. The registration form;

  3. Recent photograph of three (3) sheet size (4×6) color with a blue background;
  4. Photocopy of identity cards;
  5. Copy of last diploma legalized by the competent authority;
  6. Certificate of Physical and Spiritual Health of doctors in government hospitals;
  7. Certificate of Free of Drugs and Other Addictive Substances of Narcotics Agency (National / Provincial / District / City) or the government hospital;
  8. Police Notes photocopy legalized and valid. First presented at the time of selection stage of the interview;
  9. Certificate from the Court stating that not been sentenced by a court decision which has become final and binding for a criminal offense punishable by imprisonment of five (5) years or more;
  10. Statement made by the above paper stamped (Rp. 6,000), that are ready to be doubled as manager and / or members of political parties, lawyers, and other professions (among others: Doctors, Accountants, Notary, Officer deed Land), when received as Chief Representative of the Provincial Ombudsman; and
  11. Statement made by the above paper stamped (Rp. 6,000), that are ready to be doubled as the State Department when received as Chief Representative of the Provincial Ombudsman. For candidates who have status as a servant to the notice must be known by direct supervisor.

Calon Asisten Ombudsman RI

Requirements :

  • Indonesian citizen;
  • Fear God;
  • Physically and mentally healthy;
  • Free of Drugs;
  • Competent, honest, moral integrity, capability and has a good reputation;
  • The lowest age of 22 (twenty two) years and a maximum of 35 (thirty five) years as of 9 November 2016;
  • Lowest education degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 (an accredited college A) or 3.00 (other colleges), preferably a Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Social and Political Science, a Master of Public Administration, Master of Statistics, Master of Accounting, Master of Psychology, and master other fields;
  • Able to operate computer Ms. minimal program Office;
  • Not been sentenced by a court decision that has been legally binding, for a crime that is punishable by imprisonment of five (5) years or more;
  • Not ready cum in the State Department, the management and / or members of political parties, lawyers, and other professions (among others: Doctors, Accountants, Notary, Officer Deed Land); and
  • Preferred are active and have a network of government, community organizations, NGOs, the media, and / or universities in their respective territories.
