About Badan SAR Nasional (Basarnas)
Badan SAR Nasional – Basarnas is the Indonesian Ministry of Non-Government Institutions in charge of carrying out government duties in the search and rescue field ( search and rescue / SAR )
Basarnas has the main task of coaching implementing , coordinating , and controlling the potential of SAR in SAR activities of persons and materials are missing or worry about lost or in danger in shipping and / or flying , as well as providing assistance in disasters and other calamities in accordance with national legislation and international SAR . Clearly the duties and functions of the SAR is unfortunate handling shipping and / or flight , and / or disaster and / or other disaster search and rescue efforts in the event of a disaster. Handling of the disaster in question includes 2 main things that search ( search ) and relief (rescue ) . In the unfortunate task of handling shipping and aviation should be in line with the IMO and ICAO .
Basarnas led by the Head of the National Search and Rescue Agency in charge of two (2 ) deputies as Deputy for Operations and Field Potential and Principal Secretary . Deputy Operations is responsible for the implementation of the rescue operation while the Deputy Minister responsible for the development potential of SAR potential both Human Resources and SAR facilities . Deputy for Operations consists of : Directorate of Operations and Directorate of Communication . Potential Deputy consists of : Infrastructure Directorate and Directorate of Man Power and Correctional SAR .
In carrying out its core functions, Basarnas has a Technical Implementation Unit ( UPT ) in an area called the Office of the SAR and Technical Implementation Unit ( UPT ) Training Center . Currently, there are 33 office consisting of SAR 10 SAR Class A Office and the Office of SAR 23 Class B. SAR office has the responsibility to implement the area development , coordination and implementation of SAR operations in the region .

Jobs Description
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Citizens of the Republic of Indonesia.
- Have high integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia.
- Has status as a candidate for Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil / Civil Servant.
- There was never dismissed with respect not his own request or not with respect as CPNS / PNS / Members Military / Police or dishonorably discharged as a private employee.
- There was never sentenced to prison or jail based on court decisions that already have permanent legal force, due to perform a criminal act.
- Not a member of a political party or committee.
- Willing to be placed throughout the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.
- Understand / master the use of computers (office) and internet (browsing and electronic mail).

- Anyone who intentionally filling the data does not fit the facts / data manipulation then:
- a. Will result in applicants into membership selection CPNS fall of the Kementerian Pertanian.
- b. Breaking the ITE Law No. 11 of 2008 Article 35 and Article 51 with the threat of imprisonment of twelve (12) years and / or a maximum fine of Rp 12,000,000,000, – (twelve billion dollars).
- For applicants who have scored a Test Card please attach recent photograph with a red background size 3 x 4 cm in the space provided for 2 (two) copies.
- Once passed and has submitted the file to the determination of NIP later resigned then imposed a fine to be deposited by the State of Indonesia.
