PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Bali (Persero) – BTDC or Bali Tourism Development Corporation is a reputable state owned company in Indonesia that was deals with tourism business. The Company operates tourism resort in Nusa Dua Bali encompasses an area of 320 hectares with tourist facilities consisting of 12 hotels, 1 club hotel, 1 condotel, and 3 villa hotels. BTDC also operates Mandalika Resort in Lombok Islands with covers 1.175 hectares of resorts area. The Company had 4 subsidiaries/partnership companies, including PT Garuda Adi Matra, PT Peninsula Bali Resort, PT Bagus Agro Pelaga, and All Season Hotel & Service Apartment (Bali Griya Santi). Based on BTDC Annual report 2011, the Company posted total operating income of Rp84.5 billion and operating profit reached Rp31.4 billion for the end of 2011.

BTDC History

Establishment of PT. BTDC

In the implementation of the plan Nusa Dua, as Region Tourism has formed a Business Entity PT. Pemgembangan Tourism Bali (Persero) or better known as the Bali Tourism Development Corporation (PT BTDC), the primary aim of organizing the availability of infrastructure and facilities, inviting investors to build hotels as well as manage and maintain the Tourism Nusa Dua area. Besides, formed Board Bali Tourism Development Master Plan (BPRIP) with the task of consultation and coordination with the PP. 27 1972 and PT. Bali Tourism Development (Persero) or the Bali Tourism Development Corporation (BTDC PT).

PT. BTDC Nusa Dua manage an area of ??approximately 350 hectares, which was originally barren and unproductive land, became an attractive tourist area in Bali. This region has been famous even in Manca State as one of the 6 best tourism region in the world. Regional infrastructure development undertaken by PT Nusa Dua.
