About Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM)
Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan – Badan POM – BPOM is an institution in Indonesia, which oversees the distribution of medicines and food in Indonesia. Functions and duties of these bodies resemble functions and duties of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States.
Advances in technology have brought rapid changes and significant in the pharmaceutical industry, medicine native to Indonesia, food, cosmetics and medical devices. By using modern technology, these industries are now able to produce in a very large scale covers a wide range of products with the “range” is very broad.
With the support of transport and technological advances thinner entry barrier in international trade, then these products in a very short time can spread to different countries with very extensive distribution network and is able to reach all strata of society.
Of consumption of the said products tends to increase, along with lifestyle changes in society, including their consumption patterns. While it is of public knowledge are not sufficient to be able to select and use the product appropriately, correctly and safely. On the other hand aggressively on advertising and promotion to encourage consumers to consume excessive and often irrational.
Changes in production technology, the international trading system and the consumers’ lifestyles in reality increases the risk with far-reaching implications on the health and safety of consumers. In the event of sub-standard products, damaged or contaminated by hazardous substances, the risk that occurs will be large-scale, comprehensive and take place very quickly.
For that Indonesia must have the Food and Drug Monitoring System (SisPOM) an effective and efficient way to detect, prevent and control the products referred to protect the security, safety and health of consumers both at home and abroad. For it has been established that BPOM has a network of national and international law enforcement powers and have high professional credibility.

Requirements
- Education background in D3/S1 Accounting.
- Have a good understanding of finance administration.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the related field.
- Detail oriented/thorough.
- Neat.
- Computer literate (Excel Finance).

General Requirements
- Indonesian Citizen (WNI) who piety to God Almighty.
- Will not demand to be appointed to the Civil Service Office (PNS).
- Well behaved and physically and mentally healthy.
- Have a strong commitment and high opportunity according to the position of the proposed.
- Integrity, discipline, hardworking and honest.
- Minimum GPA of 2.75 from a leading university with minimum accreditation B (PTN/PTS).

- Legalized copies of diploma and transcript (for Pharmacist must attach the diploma of S1 Pharmaceutical and Pharmacist)
