About Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP)
Universitas Diponegoro – Undip is a university in Central Java , Indonesia, which was founded in 1956 as a private university and a new status as a state university in 1961 . Diponegoro word is taken from the name of the national hero is a prince pengobar spirit of independence from Dutch colonial actions in the early 18th century . This spirit helped inspire the establishment Undip .
History
Around the beginning of the 1950s in Central Java community in general and the community in Semarang in particular , requires the presence of a university as an executive education and higher education . It was to assist the government in addressing and implementing development in all fields . At that time in the province of Central Java and Yogyakarta has only Gajah Mada University ‘s status as a state university .
Number of high school graduates in the northern part of Central Java which will pursue higher education in universities is increasing, but is still very limited due to the existing universities , so that not all graduates can be accommodated . Recognizing the need for higher education is increasingly urgent , then Semarang University Foundation was established by the Notary RM No Soeprapto . 59 dated December 4, 1956 as an initial step in the establishment of the university with the name of the University of Semarang Semarang .
Some of the figures that initiated the founding of the University of Semarang including Mr . Imam Bardjo , the then Chief Prosecutor or Attorney – Attorney Supervisor in Central Java and Yogyakarta , Mr . Sudarto , Mr . Soesanto Kartoatmodjo , and Mr. Dan Soelaiman , three prosecutors in Semarang .
While some of the figures were first established as a trustee in a deed notarized , as Mr. Chairman . Soedarto , Vice Chairman Mr . And Soelaiman , Mr. Registrar . Soesanto Kartoatmodjo , Treasurer Mr. Achmad Tjokrokoesoemo , Mr Helper . Imam Bardjo , Mr . Gunawan Goetomo , Mr . Tan Tjing Rights , and Mr . Koo Swan Ik .
Establishment of the University of Semarang has received feedback and support from other parties , especially the people of Semarang , Central Java provincial government , and the municipal government of Semarang . University of Semarang officially opened on January 9, 1957 , as President of the University appointed Mr . Imam Bardjo . At that time he also gave general subjects of Human Rights .
Given the very young age with the educational facilities are still very limited , so at times it can only be opened Faculty of Law and Society . As the first dean , Mr . R. Soebijono Tjitrowinoto . Then on March 1, 1957 opened the Academy of State Administration of education which later became the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences , the first dean Mr . R. Goenawan Goetomo .
Academy of Business Administration or who is now the Faculty of Economics was opened on 21 September 1958 , as the first dean , Dr. . Sien Tjioe Kiong . While education Engineering Academy , which later became the Faculty of Engineering , opened on October 20, 1958 , the first dean , Prof . Ir . R. Soemarman .

Persyaratan Umum
- Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI);
- Berusia serendah-rendahnya 18 (delapan belas) tahun dan setinggi-tingginya 35 (tiga puluh lima) tahun pada tanggal 1 Desember 2013;
- Bagi pelamar yang berusia lebih dari 35 tahun dan belum berusia 40 tahun pengangkatan CPNS dapat dilakukan berdasarkan kebutuhan khusus, dilaksanakan secara selektif, dan harus memiliki masa kerja minimal 5 (lima) tahun pada 17 April 2002 pada instansi pemerintah dan/atau lembaga swasta yang berbadan hukum yang menunjang kepentingan nasional dan sampai saat ini masih bekerja secara terus-menerus.
- Sehat jasmani, rohani dan bebas NARKOBA
- Berkelakuan baik dan tidak pernah dihukum penjara atau kurungan berdasarkan putusan pengadilan yang memiliki kekuatan hukum tetap;
- Tidak pernah diberhentikan dengan hormat tidak atas permintaan sendiri atau tidak dengan hormat sebagai PNS atau anggota TNI/POLRI atau diberhentikan tidak dengan hormat sebagai pegawai swasta;
- Tidak berkedudukan sebagai anggota atau pengurus partai politik;
- Tidak berkedudukan sebagai CPNS/PNS dan atau anggota TNI/Polri dan tidak sedang menjalani perjanjian/kontrak kerja/ikatan dinas pada instansi lain;
- Bagi calon dosen ijazah yang dimiliki antara jenjang S1, S2, maupun S3 harus linier.
Persyaratan Khusus
- Formasi Dosen kualifikasi akademik pendidikan harus linear antara ijazah S1 dan S2 dengan nilai IPK S1 minimal 3,00 dan nilai IPK S2/Sp.1 minimal 3,25
- Formasi Tenaga Kependidikan dengan ijazah D3 nilai IPK minimal 2,75 dan ijazah S1 nilai IPK minimal 3,00
- Ijazah diperoleh dari Perguruan Tinggi dan Program Studi yang terakreditasi minimal B, atau ijazah yang diperoleh dari dari Perguruan Tinggi Luar Negeri telah mendapat penetapan penyetaraan dari Panitia Penilaian ijazah lulusan perguruan tinggi luar negeri dari Ditjen Dikti Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan;
