Rukindo History
In 60-ies, dredging activity was done by government named Dredging Agency Services under the Directorate General of Sea Transportation. Then in 1964, the Dredging Agency become a part of the Harbour State Enterprise (Port Administration). April 30, 1983, all division of Dredging Agency changed into PERUM PENGERUKAN (Public Corporation of Dredging Company) under Department of Transportation of the Republik Indonesia. In accordance with development, on October 1, 1991 the form of perum has changed to a limited company named PT (Persero) Pengerukan Indonesia or PT RUKINDO.

Scope of Bussines
- Dredging of access channel, harbor basin and other location that need dredging services
- Reclamation, transportation of dredged materials, building and land development
- Civil Work to be related with dredging, reclamation, building and land development
- Consulting services for dredging activity, reclamation and land development
- Hydrographi and topography survey and soil investigation
- Repair, maintenance, building of dredger and auxiliaries, and other ships
- Agent services of company/dredger and other services to be related with dredging and reclamation
- Concession and sand minning
- Rent of dredger, supported facility of dredger and ship crewing

Jobs Description
General Requirements:
a. Minimal S1 for the number 4 s.d. 11, or at least D3 for numbers 3, 8 & 12, from the PTN / PTS that has been accredited A / B or from foreign universities that have received approval from the RI KEMENDIKBUD.
b. Citizens, physically and mentally healthy.
c. Age not more than 28 years on June 1, 2012 to number 4 sd12 or not older than 32 years on June 1, 2012 for the numbers 1 through 3.
d. Minimum GPA 3.00 (scale 4) for the number 9 s.d. 12 or a minimum GPA of 2.75 (scale 4) for the number 3 to 8.
e. Have the ability to speak English well.
f. Able to use computer (Microsoft Office) and internet (browsing and electronic mail).
g. Willing to be placed around the working area of ??PT Rukindo.
h. For number 1 s.d. 3 will be placed as a crew / ship crew.
i. Applications must attach, as follows:

2) Photocopy of diploma and transcripts that legalized as many as 1 sheet.
3) Fit size color photo 3 cm x 4 cm 3 pieces to date.

7) Certificate of sound mind and body of a new hospital or doctor.
