PT Indah Karya (Persero) is a state-owned consultant who started his business before World War II as a private company owned by the Dutch who named Ingenieurs Bureau Vrijburg (IBIV). In 1961 nationalized the PN Beautiful work as state-owned enterprises. Since 1972 changed to PT Indah Karya (Persero) under the Ministry of Public Works. PT Indah Karya (Persero) is one of the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) are engaged in the Construction and Management, was established on March 29, 1961. Office PT Indah Karya (Persero) based in Bandung with branch offices scattered throughout the territory of Indonesia.
PT. Indah Karya (Persero) has two business units namely Beautiful Works Register Certification Services (IKRCS) certification in the field of management, and Construction Services unit (ELJEKA) which is a contractor. PT Indah Karya (Persero) co-founded with the purpose of carrying out government programs in the field of national economic development effort Survey, Investigation, Planning Studies / Planning, Technical Planning / Design and Access / Supervision / Management / Management for the Construction / Implementation of development projects, provision of personnel experts as well as activities and certification in Management Consulting.
Besides carrying out the work of Government projects, PT Indah Karya (Persero) also compete for jobs private projects. In the execution of the projects of PT Indah Karya (Persero) is always in cooperation with the system or subcon association with the Company’s local and foreign consultants, both in its role as the lead firm or as an associate.
